What is Waybound Online?
Waybound Online is a multiplayer game about life at sea in the Age of Sail. Pick your ship, hire a crew, sail from port to port and defend your cargo – or take someone else's.
Naval combat
Fire broadsides from the port and starboard guns. Round shot damages the hull, chain shot tears the sails, grape shot hits the crew.
Ramming
Charge in and strike the enemy hull. Better rams hit harder, and your own ship pays a price.
Many ships
Sloops, galleons, carracks, junks and more, each with its own look, guns and cargo.
Trade & crew
Buy and sell goods in port, keep your provisions stocked and your sailors fit for the voyage.
Log in with Discord
No password to remember: sign in or register with your Discord account (QR login from your phone works too).

How to play
- Download the game from the button above and unpack it.
- Run the game and choose Log in with Discord or Register with Discord.
- Approve the login in your browser (or scan the QR code with the Discord app on your phone).
- Create a captain, pick a ship and set sail!
Windows may warn about an unknown publisher the first time you run the game. The game is in early testing, so expect bugs – please report them on Discord.
Status
Waybound Online is in early testing. Features are being added and servers may restart often. Parts of the game's content were made with the help of AI tools.
